SHARI JO VEDDER (nee Landane) age 64; beloved of Kurt W.; loving mother of Kelsey Riley (Christopher, step-son Lucas Riley-Newsome) and Blake (Gina Ritsko); cherished daughter of Joan (nee Downer) and Jack Landane (both deceased) and stepdaughter of Marilyn Landane; sister of Susan Farnham, Steve Landane (Tom Stankewicz) and Scott Landane (Karen): aunt of  Kevin and Bridget Farnham, Jennifer and Scott VanderVeen, Mark and Jennifer Farnham, Katie and Randy Marcano, Ryan and Sana Landane, Kristen McCue and Kimi Landane and Emma Stankewicz; passed away June 13, 2024 with her family by her side. Our Mom, Shari, spent the beginning of her career in Elementary School education teaching Kindergarten - 4th Grade in the Hamilton City School District. Because of this, we were incredibly lucky to have so many Summer memories with her.  From vacations to Northern Michigan to lazy days by the pool, her life was always centered around spending time with us.

While her career changed later in life, Education was always her first passion.   Shari spent the latter half of her career in the Hospitality industry at various Cleveland businesses. Her (seemingly) never-ending patience, compassion, wit, and sense of humor made her a friend to nearly anyone she met.

She thrived doing both but they live in the shadow of her life calling, being our Mom.  Her love was infinite and unwavering, even on her toughest days.

Sheri's Celebration of Life will be held at the Pavilion in Coe Lake Park on Saturday August 17, 2024 from 11 AM - 1 PM. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
