In Loving Memory of Sheila Christine Mohar (Flett)
It is with the deepest sorrow and immense love that we mourn the passing of Sheila Mohar of North Olmsted, Ohio, who left us on April 10, 2023. She was born on July 29, 1932, in London, England to Alfred Edward Flett and Poppy Hill.
A cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sheila lived a full, vibrant life marked by her unwavering love for her family, her passion for careers in both nursing and Pastoral Ministry at the Church of St. Clarence for many years and her devotion to the North Olmsted and neighboring communities.
She is survived by her loving children, Tracy Henze, Michael Townsend, and Kimberly Flett, her eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren extended family, friends. She was preceded in death by her spouse, James D. Mohar.
Sheila boldly sailed the Atlantic to become a U. S. Citizen in 1957 after surviving World War Two, including The Blitz bombing of London in 1940. Her joyous spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless kindness will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. Her legacy lives on through her family, who will remember and honor her strength, resilience, and the unconditional love she gave.
A private service was held recently. We are thankful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sheila Mohar's memory to Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care, 9775 Rockside Road, Suite 270, Valley View, Ohio 44125.
Our hearts are heavy, but we find comfort in knowing that Sheila is now at peace with God, reunited with those who have gone before her.
