Sigmund S. "ZIGGY" Bialosky, 90, of Westlake passed away on January 26, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. Pioneer of the Cleveland home improvement industry as owner of Custom Home Improvement Company for 40 years being the first businessman to bring aluminum siding to the area and starting the NARI Home Show. His sons continue the business today. Born on October 14, 1920 in Cherry Valley, PA to the late Bruno and Sophia Bialoskorski. A decorated U.S. Army Veteran serving in the China Burma Indonesia Theater during WWII. Long-time coach and sponsor of Westlake youth sports teams for 30 years. Avid sportsman and member of the Westlake Sportsman Club. Founding member of St. Bernadette's Church. He is survived by his loving wife Lillian (Vincenty) of 61 years, father of Sandra Barniea (William) of Annapolis Md, Glenn (Mary Anne), Ronald (Peggy), Daniel (Susan) and 13 grandchildren. Funeral Mass Sat. Jan. 29 St. Bernadette Catholic Church (2256 Clague Rd.) at 10:00 AM. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD. N. OLMSTED FRIDAY 2-4 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to either Little Sisters of the Poor, 4291 Richmond Rd. Warrensville Hts, Ohio 44122 or Backdoor Ministries at St. Malachi Church 2459 Washington Ave. Cleveland 44113.
