STANLEY "CHUCK" KASKEY, JR., age 86, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025 at the Thomas P. Perciak Residential Hospice home after a brief illness. He was born October 24, 1938, to the late Stanley Kaskey, Sr., and Pearl (nee Stawicki) in Lakewood, but raised in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Sandra (nee Hawley); daughter, Linda Kostelnik (John-deceased), sons Casey (Holly) and Chris (Victoria); grandchildren Christy Gabler (Jeremy), Lindsay Wilkins (Nick), Abigail Arnold (Kevin); great-grandchildren Jesse, Jacob, Aoife and Maebh; brother Tom and many nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Pearl, sisters Joan Jocke (Ralph-deceased) and Connie Gumpher.

A long-term resident of Berea, he was known around town as "Chuck the painter". Chuck had an uncanny gift of sarcasm that came with love and compassion for others. He was always willing to help, but very seldom asked for anything himself. His kind smile will be missed by all who knew him.  His love for family was the cornerstone of his beliefs.

He was a devoted Lutheran and a member of First Lutheran Church in Strongsville.

The family welcomes friends and family to a Celebration of Life dinner to be held from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at The American Legion Post 91 located at 91 American Legion Parkway, Berea, Ohio.
