SUZANNE E. BENDER (nee Seyler), age 83, loving wife of 59 1/2 years to Richard (Dick). Mother of Dan (Jessica) and Tom (Teresa). Grandmother of seven: Jackson, Alexander, Peyton, Lucas, Connor, Riley & Collin. Daughter of the late Donald and MaryJane. Sister of the late Dennis and Nancy and Aunt to dozens. Surrogate Mom to many and a friend to even more. Passed away January 24, 2026. Sue was a Registered Nurse and spent much of her career at Lakewood Hospital. She was praised as an amazing caregiver throughout her career and often received thank you notes from her patients. She was the best of us, and she will be missed. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
