SYLVIA H. NAGY (nee Earley), beloved wife of the late William. They were married over 69 years. Dear mother of William (Rosemary), Richard (Marsha) and Charles (Susan) Nagy. Grandmother of John, Mark, Laurie, Sherry, Jessalynn, Matthew and Michael. Great-Grandmother of Karen, Luke, Kyra, Alyssa, Caelan, Wyatt, Owen, and Reid. Sister of the late Ruth Earley. Sylvia was an avid tennis player as a young woman and started her husband and sons into the game. Now, 60 plus years later, this has blossomed into multiple generations of tennis players. Sylvia was also a dedicated volunteer throughout her life. When her boys were in school, she was always involved with the PTA organizations. She also volunteered at the school libraries and taught Sunday school. After her children got out of school, she volunteered for 14 years for the American Red Cross Blood Mobile in her home community. Later in her life, she assisted residents at the Altenheim Nursing Home in Berea for over 17 years. Sometimes, she was older than the residents she was helping.
