TERRENCE MICHAEL "MICKEY" KIMBLE

TERRENCE MICHAEL “MICKEY” KIMBLE, 32, whose infectious smile and gentle presence graced family and friends in ways both profound and simple, was surrounded by the love of his family as he passed away on July 22, 2026.

Mickey is survived by his mother, Cheryl Woelfl Kimble, his father, Kevin Kimble (Lori), his most devoted, undeniable superhero sister, Katie, and his forever most caring and loving grandmother, Mary Frances (Fran) Kimble. Mickey’s love and support from his beautiful, faithful family contributed in ways big and small, unique and creative, personal and memorable; a commitment to each other that is seen daily. Mickey will join his loving Grandpa Terry Kimble, Grandma Bonnie Woelfl Owens and Grandpa Bob Owens, Grandpa Chuck Woelfl and many loving aunts and uncles and his baby brother Francis in eternal life.

Mickey, who had cerebral palsy, was an everyday life teacher who provided all those on his path with opportunities to grow personally and professionally and was met with the best everyday leaders in every arena, from education to healthcare to service support that championed the way for his life journey.

But it is without question that the most memorable experiences of Mickey’s life outside of his time with family was his time with Youth Challenge. Through year round, free adaptive sport, art and recreation programs, Youth Challenge unites young people with physical disabilities and teen volunteers in meaningful and fun opportunities. Every program is filled with energy, spirit and friendship; the perfect formula for a rich life.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 29, St. Brendan Catholic Church at 10 a.m. (4242 Brendan Lane, North Olmsted). A prayer at Mickey’s final resting place at Sunset Memorial Park (6265 Columbia Road).

In lieu of flowers, Mickey’s most heartfelt wishes would be for those to honor him and his spirit in supporting Youth Challenge so that they may continue to serve kids like Mickey and his friends.  http://www.youthchallengesports.com/Mickey
