THOMAS F. HACKETT, JR., age 88, retired Cleveland Police Officer.  Beloved husband of 53 years to Barbara (nee Tate); loving father of Thomas F. III (Stacy), Hope Burger, Connie McKenna, Teressa Church, Tim (Laurie) and Kevin Hackett; grandfather of 14; great-grandfather of 19; brother of Edward (Barbara); brother-in-law of Loretta Downer; uncle and great uncle of many.  Proud U.S.M.C. Veteran - Korea and Purple Heart recipient.  Past president and member of F.O.P. Lodge 8 and the R.I.P.S. (Retired Irish Police Society).  Past president and current member of West Park Kiwanis.  Passed away September 21, 2017.  Funeral Mass Thursday, September 28, Our Lady of Angels Church (3644 Rocky River Dr.) at 11 A.M.  Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Seville, OH).  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR.
