Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Clarke); loving father of Roger (deceased), John (Yvette), Kathy Brezine (Dan), Maureen McGowan Hansen (Brian), Jim (Margie), Maggie Murray (Noel), Tommy (Margaret), Patrick (Lindsey), Bridget Gorman (Paul) and Matthew (Lauren); beloved Grandpa of Grace, Aoife, Clare, Susie, Anne, Chris, Roger, Henry, Ava, Kat, Tadhg, Caroline, Rose, Molly, Kacy, Niall and Elizabeth; son of the late Kathleen (nee Campbell) and John McGowan; brother of Roger (deceased), Margaret Lally (Pete) and Noreen Sweeney (Jack, deceased) (both of Cleveland), Packie (Alice), John, Kathleen Horisk (Dan), Colm (Linda), Josie (Nora) and Jim (Bernie) (all of England and Ireland); uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many. Retired after 45 years with Pipefitter's Local 120. Passed away suddenly January 5, 2016. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 9, St. Mark Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
