THOMAS A. PAPPAS, age 81, best friend and husband for 59 years of Patricia (nee Lavin); dear father of Tom (Katherine), Tim (Valerie) and the late Terry (whose loss is felt daily); brother of Joan, Penny (dec.), Joseph (dec.) and Daphne; grandfather of Jason and Troy; great-grandfather of Abby and Connor. Tom's many nieces and nephews, as well as the Mahon Family, were an important part of his life. U.S.M.C. veteran - Korea. Retired from the railroad after 42 years of service with the New York Central, Nickel Plate, and Norfolk and Western. Tom made lifelong friends at the railroad and at the Lakewood Supply Company of Cleveland. Passed away August 28, 2012.
