Tracy enjoyed an idyllic childhood filled with block parties, shaving cream fights and countless other memories with wonderful neighbors on Linwood Circle. She was a graduate of North Olmsted High School, Class of 1994 and received her bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University. Before starting her family, she was a Marketing Coordinator for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She also devoted her time, impeccable planning skills and her compassionate heart to the Prayers From Maria Foundation, an organization making an impact on childhood brain cancer. Tracy's interests were endless- from competing in marathons and triathlons to being the most detailed and over the top event planner that would amaze anyone in attendance. However, her biggest and best work came in the month of October. Every year, the Galvin/Russell families would put together the most extravagant and creative family Halloween costumes. The unveiling of each year's theme was something anticipated by many. Her friendships and her family were something she treasured immensely and held so closely to her heart, and to be her friend or family member meant that you were always cared for, listened to, and prioritized. But Tracy's most important and devoted role in life was being a mother to Fiona and Tommy, a joy she shared endlessly with her husband, Marty. The way she loved and will continue to love her children more and to the moon and back will be her greatest accomplishment in life. They were always her top priority and not a day in their lives went by where they weren't shown unwavering love, compassion and understanding. The poise, strength, and positivity that she continued to possess even in her hardest and darkest times is nothing less than remarkable. Not only was she her own biggest advocate in her fourteen-year battle with metastatic breast cancer, but she fought fiercely alongside Marty during his six-year cancer battle. She was and will continue to be the unstoppable superhero who would light up any room she entered and made everyone who knew her feel appreciated and loved. Although our hearts are broken, her legacy, her infectious smile and her selfless and kind spirit will help mend the broken pieces. We love you Tracy, more than these words could ever express. You are at peace now and no one is more deserving than you.
