VERONICA M. JANKE (EIBLER) (nee Savel) age 94, of Maple Hts., Oh, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 2013. A Cleveland native born April 14, 1919 and lived in Maple Hts. for 55 years. Veronica (Vera) worked as a waitress as a youngster, worked in a factory during war time and was a tavern owner/operator for 55 years. She loved to work. She was generous, always giving anything she had. Her vibrancy, beauty, caring and beautiful smile will be missed by all, she was a diamond. Dancing, skipping rope, and riding her bicycle were some of her childhood passions. Veronica survived two husbands, Frank D. Eibler and Frank Janke. Veronica is survived by her sons Frank R. Eibler and Eugene R. Eibler and her youngest sister Dorothy Morris (Savel). Her third and oldest son David F. Eibler passed away June 14, 2013. Her siblings were brothers Ludwig, Richard, Frank and William Savel, and a sister Marie Gumbach (Savel) (all deceased). Grandmother of Denise Reich (Eibler), Daniel Eibler and Michael Eibler. Great-grandmother of Maggie, Daniel, Charlie, Jane and Eva Noelle Eibler, Austin and Ariana Reich. Memories and a celebration of Veronica's life will commence with visitation THURSDAY 6-8 P.M.
