Wesley Aaron DeVault, age 36, of San Diego CA and North Olmsted OH, passed away suddenly Friday, January 21, 2022.  He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 10, 1985, to his loving parents Leigh DeVault and Ed DeVault.

Wes attended North Olmsted City Schools and was active in Soccer and Hockey as a North Olmsted Eagle throughout his school years in Ohio.  In 2001 he moved to San Diego where he resided for 21 years.  He was a drummer in local bands, enjoyed surfing and skateboarding, working out, and he truly was an avid San Diego Chargers fan!  Professionally, he became a Surgical Technologist after initially working as an EMT.  Wes married and was a father to a beautiful son who was the light of his life, his priority and his best buddy.

Wes was always the one to make everyone around him laugh with his great and unique sense of humor; always the life of the party!  Wes was kind and generous and he cared deeply for the people in his life and was always there to listen and lend a hand.  He will be deeply missed by those in his large circle of friends, coworkers, and family.

Wesley is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Jean Novak and paternal Grandparents Kenneth and Betty Jo DeVault.

He is survived by his 6-yr. old Son Ryder DeVault of San Diego CA, mother Leigh Novak DeVault of North Ridgeville OH, Father Kenneth DeVault Jr., (spouse Darlene), of Stuart Florida and brother Ryan DeVault (spouse Rachel), niece Kyleigh DeVault and nephew Carter DeVault of Columbia Station OH.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday April 9 ^th , 2022, at the 8820 Event Center at 8820 Bender Road, North Ridgeville Ohio. Time is 1:30 – 4:30 Open House. All friends are welcome to stop by and celebrate his life.
