WILLIAM H. BEATTIE, 80, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 7, 2010, surrounded by his family. Bill was born on Dec. 26, 1929 to Marjorie & Raymond Beattie. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Pauline H. Beattie (nee Wade). Loving father of 8 children: Scott, David (Mary Beth), Linda Heywood (Chris), Susan Siderias, Timothy (Laura), Cheryl Noble (Rick), Laura Carmon (Chris) and William II. Proud grandfather of Samantha, Lillien, Vanessa, Michelle, Matt, Theresa, Elizabeth, Joey, Jason, Justin, Emily & Christopher. Great grandfather of Hannah & Claire; brother of Margaret Alex (Robert, deceased), Robert (deceased) (Carmen), Florence Henry (deceased), Mary Jane Vigneault (John) (both deceased); uncle & great uncle of many. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Avid OSU and Cleveland Browns fan. We will all miss him so much. "There is perfect joy and beauty in God's everlasting light."
