WILLIAM PATRICK MOORE, age 88, born December 20, 1937 in Columbus, OH , passed away peacefully Saturday, September 5, 2026 surrounded by his family. 

Beloved husband of 59 years to Ann (nee Ruffing); loving father of Thomas Moore, Daniel Moore, Marianne Moore, William J. Moore (Rose), Kathleen Moore and Elizabeth Winhoven (Shawn); dear grandfather of Cole Winhoven, Luke Winhoven and Charlie Piscopo; son of the late Jane (nee Rochford) and James Moore; brother of Thomas Moore (deceased), John Moore (deceased), James Moore, Mary Hinton, Patricia Moriarty (deceased) and Gerard Moore (deceased).

William graduated from St. Mary High School and The Ohio State University. He served in the Army National Guard for two years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner at St. Malachi Church for many years. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake for their love and care they gave to Bill.  

William was a deeply devoted and selfless father who always put his family before himself. He was a man of faith, and it was truly important to him and his family.  He will be missed dearly.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 15, St. Malachi Church (1371 West 25th St.) at 10:00 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Please allow extra time to find parking at St. Malachi. There is ongoing construction/work in the area. Suggest carpooling to church, if possible.

Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS MONDAY 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Malachi Church, 1371 West 25th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113 or to Rock it Out Cleveland, 18626 Detroit Ave. Lakewood, OH 44107.  (a Parkinson's wellness and boxing program) in William's name.    https://www.rockitout.org/
