WILLIAM HAYWARD PACKARD, SR., age 92, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away October 5, 2017. Mr. Packard was born in Cleveland, OH, the son of the late Fay Henderson Packard and Fred Packard. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Natalie Larbig Packard; and siblings, James Packard, Delores Flachbart, Robert Packard, Richard Packard and Florence Carroll.  Mr. Packard enjoyed spending time with family and friends, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. He was known for being an excellent provider for his family by working several jobs. He worked most of his career for Ford Motor Company as a truck driver.  U.S. Army WWII veteran.  Survivors are his children, Judy Thacker (John) of Locust Grove, Nancy Holyko of Cleveland, Beverly Liss of Locust Grove, William H. Packard Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, Charles Packard (Jean) of Cleveland, and Donald Packard of Parma; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; brother, Fred Packard of Lakewood, OH, and sister, Janet Hall of Garfield Heights, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral Service Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, where friends may call TUESDAY 6-8 P.M.  Interment Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, OH.
