GLORIA M. SIMONSON (nee Pavicic) was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She peacefully left this world on November 24, 2022, one week prior to her 74th birthday.

She was born to George and Gertrude Pavicic on December 2, 1948. After graduating from St. Augustine's high school, Gloria worked very hard as an Executive Assistant to help pay for her children's Catholic education. She was very religious and found ways through prayer to make miracles happen.

She was married to her husband for 53 years, James Simonson. Together, they had four children: Michael (Deana), Gemma, Augie and Jason. And, six grandchildren: Aly, Emily, David, Brittany, Austin-deceased, and Jimmy. Gloria also had seven siblings: Butchie-deceased (Micky), Tudee-deceased (Ron), Ralph-deceased, Paul (Kathy), Terri (Skip), Maria (Stanley-deceased) and Jimmy.

Gloria was a fun-loving person and always had nice things to say. She told great stories and would do anything to help a friend or family member out. She enjoyed visiting relatives and would go out of her way to lend a helping hand anywhere she could.

Funeral Mass Friday, December 2nd (her birthday), St. Patrick Church (West Park) at 10 A.M.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd.). Family and friends of Gloria are respectfully invited to attend the calling hours at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1st, 4-7 P.M.
