PATRICIA M. SMITH (nee O'Connell), age 82, beloved wife of William E.; loving mother of Chris Lowe (Patrick), Todd Smith (Tiffany) and Will Smith (Marcie); cherished grandmother of Sean Lowe (Carra), Katie Lowe, Grayson Smith, Zack Smith and Matt Smith; dear sister of Dennis O'Connell (Bonnie) (both deceased), Elizabeth Kilpatrick (Tom) (both deceased), Tim O'Connell (Phyllis, deceased) and Suzie O'Connell; loving aunt and great-aunt of many.  Passed away September 11, 2024.  Funeral Mass Wednesday, September 18, St. Richard Church (26855 Lorain Ave., North Olmsted) at 10 A.M.  Private inurnment.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., TUESDAY 4-7 P.M.

Pat's love for her family was above all else. She took great pride in hosting family dinners and gatherings, especially for Christmas and St. Patrick's Day.  A lover of people, she found great joy in playing cards and going bowling. Earlier in life, she was an active participant in the North Olmsted Hockey Club. Later, she was a key member of the Bretton Ridge Women's Club. Pat was very creative and loved to craft. She was an avid shopper and was always able to find a good deal. She was exceptionally proud of her Irish ancestry and her Catholic faith. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and a close friend. She brought so much joy to every life she touched. Patricia's husband, William, is the former Assistant Fire Chief in North Olmsted.
