Scott M. McDonald passed away on Saturday May 1, 2021 at the age of 66. Scott was born on June 23, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Lee and Jeanne McDonald. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Debby McDonald (Dunford); his three daughters, Leslie (Samuel) Bennett, Jill (Michael) Robertson and Julie (Brian) Dipert; grandchildren Brooke, Macsen, Briar, Coralie, Sloane, Barrett and Madeline; siblings Vicki (Bill) Heise, Mark (Joni) McDonald, Nancy (Gary) Weinert, David (Pam) McDonald, Matt Brisbin and Carol (Mike) Holmes; stepmother Ann (Raleigh) Drennon and many nieces, nephews and dear friends, including John and Kathy Gayneau and Gene and Cindy Moore. Scott will be remembered as someone who loved Mount Union College, the Browns and all things related to Olmsted Falls, including helping with Olmsted Falls sports teams and being an active member and staff at Olmsted Falls Community Church for several years.

Services will be family only but will be live-streamed on YouTube for those who wish to view online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg6Y0xag_ys&feature=youtu.be . Live stream will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday May 6, 2021. Burial will be private.

Scott's family will be hosting an open house on Thursday May 6th from 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm for those unable to attend services who wish to celebrate Scott's life. Please contact Scott's family for location information for the open house. Per CDC recommendations and for the safety and consideration of others, masks are encouraged. Instead of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Olmsted Falls Athletic Booster Club ( http://ofathleticboosters.org/ ) or Olmsted Falls Community Church ( https://www.olmstedchurch.org/ ) in Scott's name.
