THERESE J. "TERRY" PREST (nee Riegler), age 77, beloved wife of 51 years to John W. "Jack" Prest; loving mother of Phil "P.J." Matisak (Joanie), Jessica Hettinger, Briana Prest and Shelly Hanna (Mark); proud "Grammy" of Paige Cannizzaro (Gio), Madi, Katelyn, Grace, Keith and Amelia; sister of Dorothy "Dot" Pletz (Bob), Wayne Rieger (deceased) and Norma Hall; mother-in-law of Chris Hettinger and Jeff Nenadal; aunt and great-aunt of many.  Passed away surrounded by her family on September 27, 2023.  Funeral Service  Monday, October 2, at 11:30 A.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. Terry was a devoted Wife, Mother and Gammy. She was married to her soulmate for 51 years. Terry enjoyed riding on the back of their Harley and taking in the sights.  She and Jack embarked on many adventures during their time together, including a month-long trip to Viet Nam and a month-long trip out West, visiting many national parks on their Harley.  They also traveled to Bike Week in Sturgis, The Adirondack mountains, and The Tail of the Dragon. They enjoyed scuba diving in Key West, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, and Cozumel and she loved family vacations to the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

Terry worked at Jack's Autobody in North Olmsted for many years, where she managed the office for Jack.  She also worked at Home Place, Bed, Bath & Beyond and JoAnne's before retiring.

During retirement, Terry and Jack spent many days a week at Life Works, in Middleburg Heights, lifting weights and working out.

Terry had a deep love for her children and grandchildren.  She loved nothing more than spending time with them, cooking for them and giving them thoughtful gifts.

Anyone who knew her, knows how generous, funny, kind and loving she was.
